Jimmy Butler looks ready for another meeting with Tom Thibodeau.
After playing with the new Knicks manager in Chicago and Minnesota, Butler – who credited Thibodeau with his development from the first round of the first round to five-time All-Star – said he believed that the young core of RJ Barrett and Mitchell Robinson could make similar progress with Thibodeau’s teachings.
“It will do great. It will turn those young people into real players; some superstars, some All-Stars, ”Butler said of Thibodeau. “I know it was itchy for this. I know he is preparing for this. When you talk about Thibs and the big stage, I think they go hand in hand. “
