Is Scott Perry the right choice for the Knicks?

According to Newsday’s Steve Popper, New York Knicks basketball operations president Leon Rose has decided to retain Scott Perry as general manager of New York. Although GM is an obstacle since an administration’s previous disaster, it has been beneficial for New York to keep it in its current position.

On Twitter, some Knicks fans were angry, few were happy and others were ambivalent. Angry fans were shocked that Perry was being held because a new executive typically hired completely new staff.

Perry has been with the Knicks for three years now. He boarded on July 14, 2017, after Phil Jackson left the organization on June 28, 2017.

Since Perry has been with the team, the results have been a mixed bag. His bad decisions include hiring David Fizdale, negotiating Kristaps Porzingis and the terrible construction of the 2019 season.

The question is therefore legitimate: is Scott Perry the right choice for the Knicks?
