Josh Hart has been added by the Knicks and has already made his New York debut. Damian Lillard, his former Portland teammate, has little warning for New York due to Josh’s current contract situation.
“He’s probably going to give up the deal he’s got now, and you have to assume he’s going to be wanted on the open market,” Lillard said, via the Daily News’ Stefan Bondy, “and there’s a chance you’ll lose a player like that if you’re not going to to equal that number”
However, Josh Hart replied to Lillard and also reassured the Knicks by stating that he intends to find his new home in New York.
