What are the Knicks to do with Julius Randle?

Fans are divided on what the Knicks should do with Julius Randle. Many consider him a decisive player, others instead very discontinuous. His season has been good, but Randle has actually lacked personality at times. The 82 games of the regular season, however, proved all the value of him, an aspect that brought him closer to the fans of the Knicks.

In the last few games, the ankle injury has certainly affected his performance. His playoffs weren’t great and the team suffered. Whether it’s only due to a physical problem we don’t know, certainly many fans have expressed their disappointment and are clamoring for a trade of him.

But would trading Randle be the right solution for the Knicks to improve what they have done this season? We do not know, but if Randle were to be traded then the Knicks will necessarily have to bet on a superstar.

The goal of the Knicks is to improve, this means at least reaching the Conference Finals. The only way to achieve this is with one or more stars on your roster. Jalen Brunson is a confirmation and we don’t even understand why he isn’t an All-Star. We don’t know Randle’s future, but if he’s traded, he’ll need a new star in New York.
