Many NBA fans are wondering what the future of Damian Lillard will be, whether he will stay in Portland or be traded. In this second option, Lillard is unlikely to sign with the Knicks. Lillard himself confirmed that he would prefer to play with the Heat or the Nets, thus excluding the Knicks.
Also, Lillard wouldn’t fit with the Knicks already having his point guard of the future in Jalen Brunson and a solid backup in the sixth man of the year finalist Immanuel Quickley.
It is therefore very unlikely that Damian Lillard will land at the Knicks.
