The New York Knicks likely need more firepower

Julius Randle averages 23.2 points with a 58.0 true shot rate, making him one of 21 players with those numbers in the league this season.

The marker no. 2 of the New York Knicks, RJ Barrett, has averaged 19.5 points while shooting 53.1% of three in the last 10 games.

After those two, though, New York offers little in the way of reliable scoring. Elfrid Payton, Derrick Rose, Immanuel Quickley, Alec Burks and Reggie Bullock all have below-average effective field goal rates. And the Knicks are 23rd in points scored for 100 possessions.

To get through the Eastern Conference’s second toughest remaining program, New York probably needs more firepower.
