The New York Knicks’ interest in Donovan Mitchell will always be there. The front office has been interested in Mitchell for some time and while Jalen Brunson has been a star for this franchise, Mitchell would play right next to him. Two small guards could be a problem on defense, but from the sound of things in the past, the Knicks aren’t worried about that. If Mitchell becomes available, they will pursue him.
According to recent rumors coming from Marc Stein’s substack, the Miami Heat are interested in Mitchell.
“The Miami Heat, league sources say, continue to have a bona fide interest in Mitchell despite Cleveland’s never-call-us approach and may well choose to test that solution with Mitchell’s proposals after Miami’s trade activities Bradley Beal and Damian Lillard over the summer ended without either player landing in South Beach”.
