The Knicks could be the right place for Sexton

The Cavaliers should not be in a hurry to move Collin Sexton yet, but the 2020 NBA project could force their hand. If the Cavaliers get an excellent choice in the 2020 draft and take another guard like Anthony Edwards or LaMelo Ball, they can’t keep and develop all four young guards.

The Knicks are one of the few teams that can offer a starting point guard job. Robinson offers the Cavs a blocking hit center to build, and Knox brings potential as choice no. 9 of 2018. Portis and Gibson have expiring agreements and a future helps Cleveland to agree to separate from two of its three main scorers.

If Sexton wants to be a starting point again, New York might be the place to do it.
