As the New York Knicks chase a playoff spot at the Eastern Conference, they are reportedly considering engaging in commercial discussions for the Andre Drummond center.

According to Marc Berman of the New York Post, the Knicks are “analyzing” whether they want to talk to the Cleveland Cavaliers about the two-time All-Star.

The Knicks could use additional help at the center with Mitchell Robinson out indefinitely after undergoing surgery on February 16 to repair a fractured bone in his right hand.

Drummond has not appeared in a game since February 12 against the Portland Trail Blazers. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported three days later that the Cavaliers were working to trade the 27-year-old.
