The Knicks are showing interest in Dinwiddie

The Knicks were reportedly once interested in Dinwiddie, a veteran combo guard who thrived during a shootout year in Brooklyn. He has 13.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game, and has started every night, but makes just 31.8% of his threes.

His deep shooting has faltered throughout his career, although he shined when he was with Dallas where he shot 40%. Given the responsibilities he was given in Brooklyn and Washington, he could have looked much better coming off the bench in New York.

Plus he shouldn’t be an expensive commercial piece either. Dinwiddie is also out of contract and the Knicks should be able to get him via Evan Fournier and any pick.
