Free agent veteran forward Taj Gibson is reportedly receiving interest from multiple NBA teams.
Gibson, 35, has worked out for seven teams including the Washington Wizards, a person close to Gibson told Marc Berman of The New York Post.
“He’s in shape,” the person said. “There’s no hard feelings. He knows it’s a business.”
Gibson spent last season with the Knicks where he played 62 games (56 starts) and averaged 6.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
Taj Gibson re-signed with the Knicks on thursday.
Gibson was seen as a mentor to center Mitchell Robinson.
He also has a history with head coach Tom Thibodeau, as Gibson played for him with the Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves.
