RJ Barrett has been at the center of numerous rumors during the off-season. During the Knicks media day, the winger discussed the situation and was even asked what his reaction was to the buzz.
“I think a lot of people’s names have been in the commercial rumors. The best of the best was in the commercial rumors,” Barrett said. “A voice is a voice. In the end it happened that I wear a Knicks jersey. So, I guess a rumor doesn’t really mean anything.”
With his efforts, the third overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft ended up signing a new contract extension worth up to $ 120 million through 2027.
