Over the past week, rumors have surfaced among pious thinkers suggesting that the New York Knicks should consider reuniting with former franchise mainstay and current Washington Wizards big man, Kristaps Porzingis.
“It was like my first love, the city of New York. Playing at Madison Square Garden, so obviously it doesn’t feel very good when I feel so much hate but, like I said, the relationship is better. Sure, now I can understand how fans could feel that way or how they saw me at the time and then I asked for a trade and was painted as the bad guy. But it is what it is,” said Kristaps Porzingis.
Porzingis was asked in a follow-up question whether he had any regrets about some things about his tenure with the Knicks, to which he retorted, “No, not about my time there. I so enjoyed every minute of playing in New York. Nothing but great memories from there.”
