An NBA writer proposes that the New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors make a blockbuster trade centered around OG Anunoby. Dan Favale of Bleacher Report proposed that the Knicks trade Evan Fournier, Quentin Grimes, and three future draft picks to the Raptors for Anunoby.
The Knicks have been looking to acquire Anunoby for more than a year, sources told NBA Analysis Network.
“Truth be told, the Knicks still have the resources to aim higher than Anunoby,” Favale wrote. “But he needs wings combined with size. Anunoby is this and much more. Some will quibble about the inclusion of Grimes, but his place in the rotation is already somewhat tarnished by the addition of Donte DiVincenzo. Minutes will be harder to come by if he’s in town with Anunoby, DiVincenzo and RJ Barrett.”
