Karl-Anthony Towns is the hottest name tied to the New York Knicks as they head into summer primed and ready to star chase to build on their best season in a decade.
But ESPN’s Zach Lowe isn’t too keen on Towns going to New York. He has a better idea.
“If I’m the Knicks, all these Karl-Anthony Town rumors are going to start now, forget it,” Lowe said on the May 15 episode of his podcast “The Lowe Post.” “I have a good team. If it’s the Knicks, I have Jalen Brunson. He is a fantastic point guard. For example, why am I tipping my team for Damian Lillard if he becomes available? I have a point guard. I don’t put in all my chips. I missed my chance on [Donovan] Mitchell, and that’s okay. We recovered from that. It turned out to be a right decision. I still have all these fries.”
