Knicks: Thibs on Quickley: “I love his attitude, he’s going to be a great player”

In his first game since opening night, rookie guard Immanuel Quickley scored nine points in 15 minutes off the bench. Choice number 25 in the 2020 NBA Draft has proven his ability to attack the circle and distribute the ball well.

“A little rust of course, but overall very happy with his energy,” said Thibodeau. “You can see he’s smart in terms of drawing fouls, which is very important. He’ll get his pace very quickly. He’s really talented, he’s smart, and he’s a hard worker. I love his attitude, I love his approach. He’s going to be great player in this league for a long time“.
