Knicks, Thibodeau: “The front office will look into available players”

Starting center Mitchell Robinson is out after hand surgery, so he wasn’t ideal for the Knicks when Taj Gibson limped in the locker room during the first half on Saturday night.

Nerlens Noel remained in the game after Gibson’s departure, despite the fact that he had three fouls and set a record of 41 minutes when the Knicks won 110-107 over the Pacers at Garden.

“Obviously we needed it, we needed the size, we needed the protection of the rim,” said coach Tom Thibodeau. “We have more than enough with the players we have. I know the front office will look into available players. This is their area. I’m just focused on the guys we have. We will find a way”.
