Knicks, the reason Hart played a key role in the win vs Heat

The Knicks had success late in Game 2 against the Heat’s zone approach. They shot 53 percent in the fourth quarter, which included four of nine three-point attempts. Josh Hart hit two key 3-pointers in the fourth as Miami seemed content to leave him unguarded in the corner.

As NBA.com’s John Schuhmann points out, New York had its most productive offensive game of the postseason in Game 2. Yahoo’s Dan Devine notes that the Knicks went 10-of-22 on 3-point attempts against the Heat Zone in Game 2.

“I love when they play me like that. I’m able to really play my game, is get to the paint and have fun, play basketball lighthearted,” Hart said after scoring 10 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter to go along with 11 rebounds and nine assists. “Obviously there will be times where I refuse some shots, times where I shoot. But with this, I’m able to play the style of basketball that I want to play.”
