The New York Knicks announced that the team has signed Obadiah Noel to an Exhibit 10 contract.
Noel, 24-years-old, (6-4, 196 pounds), averaged 10.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 29 games (19 starts) last season with the Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks. He appeared in 51 total games (22 total starts) over his career averaging 8.7 points and 2.5 rebounds for Westchester and Raptors 905. In preparation for the 2021 NBA Draft, he was named to the All-Combine team at the Tampa Bay Pro Combine after averaging 14.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
The Frederick, MD-native played four seasons at University of Massachusetts-Lowell, where he averaged 21.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists as a senior. He was named America East All-Rookie Team as a freshman and twice named First Team All-America East (2020, 2021).
