Cole Anthony is on the radar of many Knicks fans. He’s a local kid, the son of former Knick Greg Anthony, and he was a real bona fide jumper in high school. Unfortunately for the Anthony stans, the Knicks don’t seem to be that interested in selecting the combo guard with the No. 8, according to Marc Berman:
The Knicks are inclined not to catch the Manhattan point guard with the No. 8, or even if they trade in the 14-15 range, according to an industry source.
If Anthony falls to number 27, the Knicks would be interested, however.
It’s refreshing to see the Knicks front office considering trade-back scenarios. But even if they went back into their teens, apparently they still wouldn’t have chosen Cole.
