Knicks, Randle is not surprised at the team’s performance

After six previous seasons were part of losing teams, Randle led the Knicks to a winning record – achieved Sunday with a 109-90 loss for the Pistons at Little Caesars Arena.

The Knicks moved on to 18-17 and maintain fourth place in the grouped Eastern Conference. It is the last time they crossed the .500 mark in a season since the 2012-13 campaign of 54 wins.

“The reaction to the winning record, honestly in our locker room is expected,” said Randle, who racked up his usual gemstone numbers of 25 points, eight rebounds, six assists and two steals. “I’ve been saying all year, we feel like every time we go out we have a chance to win the game. I’m not very surprised where we are as a team. We have a certain level of night-to-night concentration that gives us a chance every night”.
