One of the trades that could interest the New York Knicks is with the Detroit Pistons. The Knicks, according to Bleacher Report, could receive Blake Griffin and Elfrid Payton, Bobby Portis and Taj Gibson can go to the Pistons.
Griffin underwent knee surgery in January, but according to The Detroit Free Press’s Omari Sankofa II, Griffin “should be healthy in June,” giving the 31-year-old plenty of time to prepare for the start of next season. The asking price for Griffin shouldn’t be very high. Griffin’s stock is low enough to allow the Knicks to potentially get an incredible deal, especially since he expects them to be healthy months before the regular season.
