His name had been linked to New York even before, since his former CAA agent Leon Rose signed with New York in March of 2020, rumors have constantly surfaced about a possible reunion between him and the center in the Big Apple.
Some believe the deal is closer than ever, though the Knicks will have to entice Minnesota to trade him. For this reason, the Knicks are preparing a package of draft picks and promising young talent, and the latter category is where a guy like Mitchell Robinson comes into play.
