Knicks’ Josh Hart made everyone laugh with embarrassing postgame candy moment

New York Knicks star Josh Hart let a Mike and Ike box get the best of him in a hilariously awkward postgame press conference following the Knicks’ Game 2 win.

Hart, known for shoving food into his postgame pressers, pulled his usual tricks Monday night. After his team’s 104-101 win against the Philadelphia 76ers, he reached into his pockets for a sweet snack during teammate Jalen Brunson’s response to a reporter’s question.

Cameras caught Hart loudly pouring out the box of candy, which caused Brunson to stop and give Hart an annoyed look. Hart sheepishly muttered, “I’m sorry,” before chuckling at Brunson.

On Tuesday, Hart retweeted a video of the awkward moment with the caption: “Hopefully one day I’ll work out a deal with Mike and Ike and put my face on a box lol.”

This is certainly not the first time Hart has snuck a snack or two into his post-match press conferences. Last April, the Knicks guard munched something memorable as Brunson attempted to answer a question, drawing his teammate’s immediate ire.

While these postgame moments may not seem like it, Hart and Brunson share a solid chemistry on and off the court that dates back to their Villanova days. The two also host a basketball podcast, “Roommates Show,” where, as modern slang goes, the vibes are immaculate.

When it comes to Josh Hart, I really am: NBA fans loved his candy-eating moment.
