Knicks, Jalen Brunson is ready to lead New York

Jalen Brunson‘s behavior played a role in the Knicks‘ turnaround, according to Newsday’s Steve Popper. As the son of an NBA player, Brunson was familiar with the league from a young age and was able to share a sense of calm with his teammates. “He’s very composed,” said Josh Hart. “He’s never rushed, never shaken. Very balanced. He is able to get shot of him and get other guys involved as well. He is only able to control the game and that’s what you want from a point guard. You guys see in late game situations Jalen will take control of the game, knocking down big free throws. He does all that kind of stuff. So he’s what you want in a point guard. That’s what you want in a leader. That’s what you want from one of the stars on the team and he does it every night.
