Immanuel Quickley continues to see a reduction in minutes in Thibodeau’s rotation, notes Zach Braziller of the New York Post. Quickley was on the court for just 22 minutes Monday, though the Knicks outscored the Bucks by 14 points while he played. Thibodeau replaced Quickley with RJ Barrett as his closing lineup continues to evolve. “It’s part of having a good team, and one thing is we all root for each other,” Barrett said. “We know that every game can be someone else’s night. You go in there, do your job and cheer for the next man up.”
This situation, however, could change Quickley’s future. In fact, the Knicks are thinking of including him in a trade to obtain a star.
