Knicks, has been identified the replacement for Mitchell Robinson

The idea of seeing Kristaps Porzingis back in a Knicks uniform has already been floated this offseason, with Newsday’s Steve Popper going as far as to suggest he could serve as a replacement option in the starting center position in place of Mitchell Robinson.

“New front office, new coach, no connection to the hopes and dreams he once brought to New York and burned bridges on both sides. What you see now is a possible replacement for Mitchell Robinson in the center who would provide shooting from the outside and clear the lane for Brunson, RJ Barrett, and Julius Randle,” Popper wrote.
