Quentin Grimes left Game 3 against the Cleveland Cavaliers late in the second quarter and was diagnosed with a right shoulder contusion.
Initially he was judged questionable for the return, but he did not return to the game.
Grimes made his way to the dressing room just before half-time and held his shoulder. He played just 13 minutes during the win and scored two points on 1-of-5 shooting. After the game, coach Tom Thibodeau confirmed the bruise but did not provide any updates.
The next Knicks game is set for Sunday afternoon.
