Knicks winger Reggie Bullock has missed his last three games due to injury, but looks set for his comeback by entering Sunday’s game, a 1pm tip against the Los Angeles Clippers at MSG. Bullock told reporters on Saturday that he was put into practice and contact while working from a sore neck.
But while he was sidelined, Bullock looked at the Knicks’ ongoing progression under the guidance of manager Tom Thibodeau from a new angle.
“I love it,” Bullock said. “I mean, he’s competitive in practice. But we’re held accountable in practice. The coach expects greatness from us. He expects us to go beyond the game plan and do it the right way we prepared. I love, when I was out, I kept seeing the guys compete – he’s always the next man standing, and it’s the coach’s decision as to who to start and who to play. But as I said, while I was out, things were going great. Guys were we competing and I loved the fight we did, and I feel tomorrow will definitely be a chip on our shoulder to be able to go out and play well against one of the best teams in the league right here. “
