Josh Hart offers a tough response to the 76ers player’s trash talk for the Knicks

Josh Hart doesn’t give a damn about Paul Reed’s speech right now.

Philadelphia 76ers big man Reed went viral this week for shading the New York Knicks, who the 76ers will face in the first round of the playoffs. Reed said the 76ers wanted to draw the Knicks, calling the Knicks an “easier” matchup for them. You can read his full comments here.

On Friday, Knicks forward Hart was asked by reporters about Reed’s comments and gave a vulgar response.

“I don’t give a damn what he said,” Hart said, according to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News. “He doesn’t interest me.”

Even though his speech was a little abrupt, Hart has the right idea here. The Knicks shouldn’t worry at all about the lower-league 76ers’ efforts to rile them up. The 76ers will do everything they can to try to knock the Knicks out of the game and steal one of the first two games at Madison Square Garden, so the Knicks will have to stay focused on the task at hand.
