Jalen Brunson’s 43 points inflict Milwaukee’s fourth defeat in a row

In a crucial clash for second place in the East, the Bucks continue their terrible moment by losing the fourth consecutive game (sixth in the last 7), being overwhelmed in the third quarter by a 20-6 run by the guests without being able to recover head forward. Giannis Antetokounmpo returns to the field and finishes with 28 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists, but neither Bobby Portis’ 24 nor Damian Lillard’s 23 help the Bucks, who lose Khris Middleton in the second quarter to a blow to the face.

The Bucks’ real problem has a name and surname: that of Jalen Brunson. In the five season games against Milwaukee, the Knicks star averaged 37.2 points, scoring 43 again tonight, his ninth 40-point game of the season (only Bernard King is better than him with 13 in the history of the Knicks). The guests also have 26 points from former player Donte DiVincenzo (8/11 from three) and 18+10 from Isaiah Hartenstein, placing them just one game away from second place Milwaukee in the standings.
