ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, who has followed LeBron James since his high school days in Akron, Ohio, believes the Los Angeles Lakers superstar is only using the Knicks as leverage.
James trolled Knicks fans by posting a Statue of Liberty and King’s crown emoji on X, formerly Twitter, in a pre-game interview saying that playing for the Knicks had crossed his mind in 2010, and finally doing his postgame interview wrapped in a Knicks towel.
“Obviously LeBron wears towels a lot, okay,” Windhorst said on the Feb. 5 episode of his “Hoops Collective” podcast. “That’s why he’s so brilliant. Because he has perfect denial skills, he can say, “I’ll just put a towel around my shoulders.” What are you talking about? You guys are out of your mind.’
