Giannis Antetokounmpo has been creating major news lately, news that could potentially impact the Knicks.
Antetokounmpo told The New York Times that he won’t sign a contract extension with the Bucks this fall, and he may not unless he’s certain Milwaukee is okay with a total commitment to winning championships.
“Next summer would make more sense for both parties. Even then, I don’t know,” Antetokounmpo said. I. And if I don’t feel it, I don’t sign”.
If the Bucks win a championship next year, or at least come close, perhaps that would impact Antetokounmpo. If they struggled, that would obviously be a factor. There is so much in the air right now. The Knicks will clearly be watching the situation unfold closely.
