Former Clippers guard named potential option for Knicks

In a recent article, Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report named three sleeper free agents for the New York Knicks, and one was former LA Clippers guard Patrick Beverley.

Beverley helped lead Chicago to the play-in tournament, but with what they’ve come up with, there are many who believe the Bulls need to rebuild. If the Bulls aren’t looking to compete next season, it would make sense for Beverley to sign elsewhere, as the veteran guard would not fit into a rebuilding team.

As Buckley notes in his article, the Knicks could be a good choice for both sides. “If Beverley rediscovers his touch from distance—33.9% in the last two seasons, 39.3% in the previous six seasons—he could be a tone defender and won’t dominate basketball and convert much of the clean look he gets”, Buckley wrote.
