Everything is ready for the first match between RJ Barrett and Williamson

Zion Williamson vs. RJ Barrett. Finally.

On Monday, Williamson shed 30 points, made 13 shots of 21, got six rebounds with four assists, smashing the Kings in the Big Easy.

Meanwhile, at Garden, Barrett landed a scoring clunker, missing his first eight hits, finishing with seven points.

The disparate scoring nights were not representative of the gap between Williamson and Barrett this season.

While Williamson is still the top talent and already a superstar, his former bestie Duke has now bridged the gap.

Last season, the 6-7 Williamson, despite missing most of the season with knee problems, finished third in the Rookie of the Year vote. Barrett wasn’t even voted for either of the two All-Rookie teams.

On Wednesday at the Smoothie King Center, the Knicks and Barrett will face Williamson for the first time in a regular season game.
