Charlie Brown Jr. was the star player for the Summer Knicks

During the Summer League Charlie Brown Jr. was the star player for the Summer Knicks. He averaged 19.8 points and 6.3 rebounds on 54.7% shooting from the field and 37.5% from depth.

The 6-foot-6 shooting guard came out of Saint Joseph’s and has since bounced around the league edges. He hadn’t had much success when playing at the top level, but this was his strongest Summer League ever.

Brown Jr. was the team’s best source of offensive generation, shooting the ball deep with confidence and consistently cutting and driving. He’s brought a lot on the defensive end as well, but while he’s likely earned an invite to camp, it’s hard to see him making the NBA ranks on this particular roster.
