On the occasion of his retirement, Carmelo Anthony returned to talk about his decision in Forbes: “I was going to Chicago. Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah were there. And then I started getting whispers behind the scenes. And that was all that started to emerge in the middle of my decision-making process. I wasn’t going to let anything overshadow that.”
