Tyrese Haliburton is very interested in the top 10 of the NBA draft, telling reporters Wednesday that he interviewed the Golden State Warriors (# 2 pick), Detroit Pistons (# 7) and New York Knicks (# 8).
Haliburton noted the team’s current options at point guard, including Elfrid Payton, Dennis Smith Jr., and Frank Ntilikina, but explained why it would fit the roster regardless.
“I am ready to do whatever is asked of me,” he said. “Whether this is playing 1 or sliding to 2 or coming off the bench or starting, it doesn’t really matter.”
