NBA insider Alan Hahn of ESPN wants to see the New York Knicks go after Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal this offseason.
Hahn believes the Knicks have the young players and picks needed to acquire Beal from the Wizards.
Beal signed a five-year, $251 million deal with the Wizards in July 2022. The deal has a no-trade clause, so Beal can only be traded if he agrees to trade.
The Knicks lost to the Miami Heat in the 2023 Eastern Conference Semifinals in six games. They could use a star player like Beal alongside point guard Jalen Brunson and power forward Julius Randle. Beal, a St. Louis native, has career averages of 22.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists.
