Tom Thibodeau reacts to the ejection of a key Knicks player

Josh Hart‘s first-half ejection left a bad taste in the mouth of New York Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau, who was defeated by his former team, the Chicago Bulls, 108-100 on Friday, April 6, preventing their to jump to no. 3 in the East.

“He is a key player especially when teams are loading up on Jalen,” Thibodeau told reporters after the disappointing loss. “We can’t afford to do this. There is a fine line. Josh has been great for us. But our margin for error is very narrow right now. We must overcome every distraction. It’s a difficult decision. But it’s harder to lose it. But it is what it is. We must learn from this.

Hart was ejected with 34.1 seconds left in the first quarter after kicking Bulls’ hero of the night Javonte Green in the side of the head as he fell after being knocked off the ball.
