So even though he’s not a basketball player, when he talks about the NBA Finals, everyone listens. And his latest comments about the New York Knicks are sure to infuriate fans of the team about what’s to come.
While the battered Knicks collapsed in the playoffs due to injuries, losing to the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference semifinals in seven games, it was still an incredibly successful season. And if you ask Brady, he believes New York will be playing in the NBA Finals before they know it.
Brady knows a title contender when he sees one, and there’s no ignoring the fact that he believes the Finals could be in New York’s future. After a rough patch, the Knicks have found their way back to NBA prominence, and they’re looking to capitalize on their incredibly talented roster. There will be challenges along the way, but they may have the firepower to overcome them now.
It will be interesting to see how the Knicks fare after their eventful offseason, as they are among the favorites to emerge from the Eastern Conference and reach the Finals. Brady certainly seems to believe in their potential, and if things go their way, the 2024-25 season could prove to be a lot of fun for New York and its fans.
