The Suns win: mediocre performance by the Knicks

More than modest performance by the Knicks against the Suns. Thibeodeau’s team looked very tired and the Suns took over. Easy victory for Phoenix who do what they want especially in attacking rebounds conquering 19, which allow the whole quintet to close in double figures led by Devin Booker‘s 20 points to which is added the double double by Deandre Ayton at 13+ 11, all without being able to count on Chris Paul and Cam Johnson still injured.

For the Knicks, Jalen Brunson is the only one who tries to put something into it, finishing with 27 points in 29 minutes. Together with him only RJ Barrett finished in double figures at 12, but with 3/11 shooting that matches the 4/11 of a dead Julius Randle. Coach Thibodeau‘s move to insert Quentin Grimes in the starting lineup in place of the injured Cam Reddish does not pay dividends: the guard finishes with 10 points and 8 assists, but only 1/5 from long range within the 7/22 team of new yorkers.
