The stars are in favor of the resuming of the NBA season

According to Yahoo Sports’s Chris Haynes, LeBron James and the NBA’s biggest star have “formed a united front to resume the 2019-2020 season,” which was on hiatus due to the coronavirus.

NBPA President and Oklahoma City Thunder Guard, Chris Paul, staged a private conference call on Monday which reportedly including James, Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kawhi Leonard, Stephen Curry, Damian Lillard and Russell Westbrook.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Tuesday that the NBPA was probing players that they wanted the season to continue.

The players’ association denied the report and announced that “it has not recorded any formal polls for its players,” according to Shams Charania of Stadium and The Athletic.

The league has been patient for a potential return, according to Commissioner Adam Silver, a decision was not made in Wojnarowski in May.

Last week the teams were allowed to reopen the facilities, although some have to remain closed for at least a few weeks based on local restrictions.
