The reasons the Knicks won’t trade Randle

The Knicks find themselves in an interesting position this offseason as they are right in the thick of things looking at the Eastern Conference playoff picture, but they still seem to be missing something to be a true championship contender. Having mobile contracts and a handful of tradable assets over the years, New York could look super aggressive in the offseason to add another star to their roster, something the Knicks have been rumored to be wanting to do for some time.

Randle’s trading is certainly something this organization would consider should an offer come along, but it’s highly unlikely that they’ll actually pull the trigger on a deal involving the two-time All-Star. There are only a handful of players in this league who are valued more than Randle right now in terms of production and contract, which is why the Knicks would do well to keep him around.
