Luck wasn’t on the side of the New York Knicks in the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery, and Enes Kanter clearly got a kick out of their bad luck.
Not only did the Knicks fail to make it to the lottery, they also dropped from number 6 to 8. Kanter responded with a simple but perfect tweet:
It is true to say that the Knicks fans are not laughing, but the rest of the league is set in the center of the Boston Celtics.
Kanter grew dissatisfied with the Knicks due to his reduced role with the team in the 2018-19 season. He was given up after the commercial deadline and later retired by the Portland Trail Blazers.
