It’s rare enough for two college mates to play together even among the pros in the NBA, but meeting three has happened very rarely. If those three players also won an NCAA title together, then what happened to the New York Knicks becomes almost unique. After signing Jalen Brunson last summer and adding Josh Hart at the transfer deadline, the Knicks added a third member of the 2016-17 NCAA champion Villanova Wildcast in Donte DiVincenzo, signed to a four-year, $50 million happiness of his former (and future) teammates, with whom he has always kept in touch over the years and giving birth to the nickname “Nova Knicks”.
