The New York Knicks don’t want to trade Mitchell Robinson for Karl-Antony Towns

The New York Knicks gave us our first crack at the season when they sent young forward RJ Barrett to the Raptors in exchange for defensive wing, OG Anunoby. It was undoubtedly a solid move for the Knickerbockers, but it could just be the start of a challenging period for them. In the latest update on the Knicks, league insider Matt Moore revealed some of the plans in New York and what they want to do after their most recent trade.

“Notably, the Knicks have no plans to include the injured Mitchell Robinson, even if he were healthy… Multiple sources said the Knicks have indicated they want to start Towns next to Robinson, similar to how the Wolves They had what was considered surprising success with Towns alongside Gobert.”
