The Knicks won’t have a problem with three contract extensions

Something worth noting about potential Knicks trades: During the season, New York internally discussed a few veteran shooting guards who would fit into the Knicks’ game.

In addition to the Toppin extension, the Knicks must decide on an extension for Quickley and a new contract for Josh Hart. But they’re well positioned financially, Bobby Marks tells SNY.

“For a big market team, the Knicks are well positioned even with this new collective bargaining agreement. They will have the choice to keep their players, they have the ability to add trades and not be restricted and they have all of these choices,” says Marks.
