The Knicks think about adding a shooter

The Knicks have forwards who can throw the ball at a high level like Julius Randle, RJ Barrett and Alec Burks, but they lack on-guard shooters with the exception of rookie point guard Immanuel Quickley and Reggie Bullock who is able to play both guard and forward.

The two Knicks centers, Mitchell Robinson and Nerlens Noel, are the defensive anchors of this team but are also capable of making an offensive contribution. Considering that both players very rarely leave the paint off, cleaning the paint to give them opportunities can help each of them respectively.

If Rose decides to trade or sign for an established shooter, names like Buddy Hield, Evan Fournier or even an older player like JJ Redick would be suitable.

There are many options for the Knicks when it comes to adding perimeter shots, but they need to add one before next season to increase the Knicks’ offensive efficiency.
