As the NBA shutdown continues indefinitely in the coronavirus pandemic, teams across the league are using the unexpected downtime to move forward for the looming 2020 NBA Draft. Compared to past drafts, the impression is that there is less quality.

The main names of the Draft

Eighteen-year-old LaMelo Ball and Anthony Edwards hold prestigious positions and have made their way to becoming leaders. Israeli Deni Avdija, an attacker with guard skills, has an intriguing skill set and has proven to be successful playing professionally abroad. Then there are great men like James Wiseman, Obi Toppin and Onyeka Okongwu, who have all shown great upside potential and long term potential, probably destined for the lottery.

LaMelo for the Knicks

As for the Knicks, the headlights are all aimed at LaMelo. Ball is the best director of this class with all the tricks in his bag and the upside shot to boot. It is a home run swing that the Knicks cannot afford to pass on.
